Dr. William L. Pierce R.I.P.

July 23, 2002 -- William Luther Pierce, founder and Chairman of the National Alliance is dead after a battle with cancer lasting less than one month. Prior to his sudden disability, Dr. Pierce maintained his 80-hours-per-week schedule of writing, broadcasting, publishing, and organizing in behalf of people of European descent around the world, a regimen which he continued almost without interruption for 36 years.

Dr Pierce contributed Demonstrating for Freedom and The Value of Truth & Righteousness to our weekly Newsletter. Although we could not agree on many points and Dr. Pierce did not know the Message of Brother Branham, his understanding of truth and righteousness was more acute in some respects than many within Message circles who are ignorant of historic truth and suffer amnesia regarding the revealed Word of God when it seems more comfortable to be politically correct and to serve national leaders who are murderers and traitors to their own kind despite oaths taken in the Name of the Lord.

Dr. Pierce did not realize the need for a Spiritual revival. But within the scope of his vision he did as much as any natural man to rally the troops to battle.

Soldiers to Arrest US Civilians?

Washington, July 22, 2002 -- Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., a member of the Judiciary Committee, said the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which prevents the military exercising police powers in this country, should be re-examined and has to be amended.

The Biden proposal and the Ridge 'knockdown' -- not necessarily a 'knockout' -- may have been coordinated and calculated to measure public reaction. . .

Air Force Gen. Ralph E. Eberhardt, President Bush's choice to lead the military's new Northern Command, told the New York Times that he favors changes in existing law to give increased domestic powers to the military to protect the nation against terrorist attacks. Mahathir Urges Muslims to Arm with Knowledge

Kuala Lumpur (AP) July 20, 2002 -- In an apparent reference to the Jewish people, Mr. Mahathir, a supporter of the Palestinian struggle, said, 'even a race with just 13 million people in the whole world can defeat the forces of 1.3 billion Muslims.'

'Not a single Muslim country is to be found among the developed nations of the world,' Mahathir said. 'The Muslim world of today is hopelessly weak and backward.' . . he faces his biggest political challenge from a fundamentalist party that wants to declare a hard line Islamic state and impose harsh laws on the country's 23 million people, including non-Muslim minorities, that would punish adultery with stoning, and theft with amputation.

Born Alive Infants Protection Act

July 20, 2002 (AP) -- US Congress has declared that babies born alive are babies, not fetuses.

In passing the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, the Senate made history Thursday by agreeing to protect certain aborted babies. The measure has already cleared the House and is sure to be signed into law by President Bush.

The bill draws a line in the sand on abortion by extending legal protection to children who survive the attempt to kill them in utero . . . abortionists can and do deliver babies alive and leave them to die if their mother's intent is to 'terminate her pregnancy.'

Walk by Faith, Not by Sight

Stop trying to comprehend the infinite eternal God and the meaning of His Word in your finite mind whose attention span is measured in just minutes. God can not be known by intellectual conception, by feeling religious, or 'anointed,' although you might be ever so sincere.  And don't be so sure that because you experienced certain sensations, that is the Spirit of God.

Whatever is not according to God's unchanging Word, and every one, is not of God. God is identified in His own Word, and that alone. His Word is His eternal thoughts expressed in a form we can receive by understanding.   Faith is simply a clear understanding of His revealed Word. Faith is Absolute.   When we receive faith we have the mind of Christ in us and we are to conform our mortal spirit and physical body to that understanding. We thereby become that part of the Word manifested, and men no longer see us, they see Christ living through our flesh.

Faith is independent of our senses since it is Spiritual understanding, not mental conviction, enthusiasm, or something we can touch or see. Nevertheless, our initial reaction to a revelation may be confidence, ecstasy, sorrow, anxiety and apprehension. But when we recall that "all things work together for good to them that love God, who are the called according to His purpose," and tie our revelation into God's overall plan, faith will produce the fruit of the Spirit in our lives as "we nail the natural desires of our flesh and mortal spirit to His cross, and leave them there" (Galatians 5:24).

Take your burdens to the Lord, and leave them there. Follow the Spirit and fulfil His perfect will. "Forgetting about the past, and looking forward to what lies ahead, strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us on High through Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be so minded: and if you disagree on some point, God shall reveal even this to you" (Philippians 3:13-15).

We are living now by the power of the Holy Spirit, so let us follow His leading. If we have crucified our ten worldly senses, let us leave them dead on the cross of Christ, and bring our spirit and flesh subject to our born-again soul so it can be led by the Spirit without distraction through the Word. And don't revive the worldly desires of your earthly home.

God is infallible, but man is fallible. If we rely upon ourself or some other man we will be misguided because men make mistakes. But God permits us to err to show we are human and to cause us to place our confidence in the Absolute. Our faith must not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ for our justification.

That word "just," does not mean "forgiven," it means upright and righteous, as though you never sinned in the first place. How? Christ has remitted your sins, and placed them on the shoulders of Satan, the first husband or nature on your soul.

Romans 4:4-8, "Now to him that works, the reward is not reckoned of free grace, but of debt. We don't earn our entitlement to the kingdom through any works we can do.   It is the free gift of grace no man can ever merit. If one could earn this right by good works or long prayers and demonstrations of repentance, then Jesus Christ died in vain.   This free gift of justification and eternal Life is given to us who do not work for it, but believe on Him Who justifies the ungodly, whose faith is accounted for righteousness".

(Our understanding of Who Jesus Christ is and what He has done, and our identification with God the Word through this understanding or faith is accounted for righteousness, for "in Him there is no sin" (I John 3:5). God is not one of three or three of one, or six of one and half a dozen of the other.   God is One Person, He is the Holy Spirit changing His form or unfolding Himself into the glorified flesh of His Family of God-men, of whom Jesus Christ was the first-born, less than 2,000 years ago.

Faith declares Who God is and shows us our part in His Word -- what Jesus is doing now. That Word, when It is manifested in our lives, is Christ living through us, and our hope of glory. John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that quickens the soul to eternal Life in a new birth; our first birth in the flesh will never receive this gift: the Words of Jesus are Spirit in a form we can receive by faith, and they are eternal Life."

This explains why we must live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. If we misplace His Word in context or time, or try to mix 'n match It with human reasoning, adding to and taking there from, It is no longer His Word and Life but a hybrid and death.

Once we see our position in the Word, and identify with the Word for our day by acting It out in our lives we become the flesh of that Word, a part of God manifest and eternal Life being justified by grace through faith, because true justification is ultimately new birth).

"King David spoke of this, describing the blessedness of the underserving, undeserving sinner to whom God imputes righteousness without works, saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered over so they will never again be seen by God. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin".

Well, my precious Brother or Sister, if God has covered your past sins and iniquities so He can never see them again (Acts 2:38-39), why do they trouble your mind? Surely, if you are giving new life to sins God has remitted and placed in the sea of His forgetfulness the spirit of antichrist has deceived you into following him away from God's unfailing Words of promise.

I John 2:22, "Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ"? And "Christ" is the anointed Word that says in I John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (or "justify" us as though we never sinned in the first place).   If we can see what God says no longer exists, aren't we denying that Jesus is the anointed Word Who died and was raised for our justification? That is sinfulness, and sin is unbelief in the revealed Word of God.

Speaking through Jeremiah, God promised His New Covenant would produce a new birth wherein, "I will put My Laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people: and they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.   For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more".

The only One accounted worthy to take the Book out of the hand of Him Who sits upon the throne told the saints of the Sardis Church Age, "You are worthy". Here is this One to Whom all judgment is committed saying, "You are worthy" And this is confirmed because we are told to "take the Book out of the hands of Christ and eat it up" (Revelation 3:4; 10:8; John 5:22).

These words are as astounding as the words in Romans 8:33, "Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?   It is God Who justifies."   Or as the Way Translation puts it, "God says I am righteous."

There in the white light of God's righteousness, we hear the sweet voice of Jesus as He says, "These are Mine. They are righteous. They are worthy. They shall walk with Me in white."

Blessed are the elect of God, whose sins are forgiven, to whom the "Lord will not impute iniquity".

Because we are re-made in God's own righteousness, "There is now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has freed me from the Law of sin and death. For what the Law could not do because of the weakness of our flesh and mortal spirit, God has accomplished through a different plan by sending His own Son in a human body like ours, only born of the spoken Word and free from the sinful nature of the world. He has destroyed sin's control over us by giving Himself as a sacrifice for our sins, that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Those who allow themselves to be controlled by the desires of the flesh care for the pleasures of the flesh; but those who follow after the Spirit find themselves doing the things that please God. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is Life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it never did obey God's laws and it never will. That's why those who are still under control of their old sinful nature, bent on satisfying the desires of the flesh and mortal spirit cannot please God" (Romans 8:1-8).

The true seed of Abraham rest upon God's promise that we shall possess the gates of our enemies after trial for we are the seed of Abraham only by the baptism with the Holy Spirit or new birth. Not by the natural birth of our flesh and mortal spirit, but the regeneration of our soul. And the unshakeable faith that lived in Abraham comes into the believer.

Overcoming power and eternal Life don't stem from Abraham's physical bloodline but from the Spirit of God by faith in His revealed Word. Deuteronomy 32:43, "Rejoice ye heaven, together with Him; and let all the angels of God worship Him. Rejoice ye Gentiles, with His people; and let the children of God be strengthened in Him; for He will avenge the blood of his children; He will avenge, and will repay judgement to His adversaries: and those who hate Him will He recompense: and the Lord will purge the land of His people." (From the Septuagint sanctioned by our Lord Jesus Christ and quoted by Paul in Romans 15:10. The text in our English Bibles comes from the perverted Masoretic text prepared by non-Semitic self-styled Talmudic "Jews" between the fourth and eleventh centuries AD).

We overcome the world not by our might or power, or by being in the Abraham's earthly lineage (for "the flesh profiteth nothing"). We overcome by a clear understanding of the Word of God for our day, and against hope believe in hope. And having done all, stand, dressed in the full armor of God, holding the sword of the Spirit to the throat of the foe in the firm hand of faith. No matter what takes place or how contrary to the expectations of the world, if it's a promise of God, the believer stands steadfast and God's Word fulfils what was spoken (Isaiah 55:11).

Our authority and power is not in flesh and blood but in the Spirit of the Lord revealed and vouchsafed by His unfailing Words of promise. Should God's Word fail we are all lost. Come what may, God's Word will work, and we must see It working in us. Bring your body and mortal spirit subject to His Word now. Don't wait until the manifestation of the Sons of God to exercise your faith. Run the shake-down trials now. Speak the Word!

Never mind what the doctor, the unbeliever or anyone else says, with God you are in the majority. We are Abraham's seed, and we shall possess the gate of our enemy, no matter who or what the enemy is. God gave the promise. Its fulfilment is our possession and our right.   Healing is our possession; salvation is our possession.   The baptism with the Holy Ghost is our possession.

Don't doubt in your heart. Believe this to be the truth, and remember: the working of the Spirit is so simple it confounds the intellectual mind.   When Israel painted the doorposts of their homes with the blood of that first Passover lamb,   they applied it with hyssop. Hyssop is a common weed fern that grew in tufts among stones, upon walls, and on trails.   Hyssop types the simplicity and ease of applying faith.   The promise is already there, all we need do is grasp it and apply It with the hyssop of our faith.

God is in the midst of His people. He loves them, and He wants to help them, and to give them the assurance that He will help them.   Grace and remission of past sins are already provided. They are yours. This belongs to you. It's a free gift from God to His Church. But you have to accept it as a free gift, and not try to earn it. "Works" are something we do in appreciation to God after we have received His free gift without doubting.

The intellectual mind has always been the enemy of faith. It was the enemy of God's grace through faith in the days of Noah, and it is today.   But God has never left himself without a witness. There have always been those who dare to stand on, "God's Word is truth". We don't need to conquer for He has already won the victory, we simply have to present His Word.   If the adversary is not moved to contrition by His Word, It will grind him to powder (Matthew 21:44; I Peter 2:6-9). We need to get into Christ by one Spirit, and His victory is ours. We just need to "eat up the little Book," or unite with and stand on His Word to possess the gate of our enemies. This is our right, we are heirs and joint heirs with Christ in all that He is (Revelation 10:8-11).

We place our confidence and hopes by faith in God's promised Word for this hour, knowing that Word speaks of us and that our lives are manifesting that part of His Word. How so? By faith alone. With the evidence that we can see the Word for this hour living through us.

What about the gifts of the Spirit? Satan and his children can impersonate all the gifts of the Spirit without the Spirit, and out smother you with the fruits of the Spirit, for "God makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain upon the just and the unjust" (Matthew 5:45). As Jesus explained the parable of the wheat and the tares to His disciples: the world is the field which has been sown with good seed and bad. The spoken Word is the good seed sown by the Son of man, while the seed of discrepancy was sown by the Devil. The sun and the rain sent to ripen and water the good seed type God's Holy Spirit sent to bless His elect. But tares growing in the field also receive the blessings and produce the same manifestations, for the Holy Spirit that anoints the saints falls upon the sinners also. They're "so close!" How can we tell them apart? By their fruit! Give them the Word test. Their revelation of the Word will prove if they are predestinated to this season of the harvest, or impersonating the Word for a day gone by.

Judas Iscariot and Jesus' seventy faithless apostles had an equal part in the Supernatural ministry with the faithful eleven (Luke 10:17-20; Acts 1:17). And today it is commonplace to find people who think God is a Trinity and falsely baptise in three Titles exercising gifts of the Spirit.   The Holy Spirit can anoint unregenerated men and women on their flesh or spirit to operate genuine gifts -- without the Spirit and contrary to the Word. Don't follow signs unless they lead you to God's Word, and every one. Follow His Word.

Paul said, "If I had the gift of speaking with tongues of men and of angels -- without the new birth I would only be making noise like sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And if I had the gift of prophecy, and understood all mysteries, and what will come to pass in the future, and knew everything about everything; and if I had such faith that I could speak to a mountain and make it move -- I would still be nothing without the new birth. And if I gave all of my goods to feed the poor, and were burned alive for preaching the Gospel, without the new birth all of this would profit me nothing" (I Corinthians 13:1-3).

Paul was speaking about the genuine gifts of the Spirit. Visit a charismatic or Pentecostal church on any Sunday and you will see the gifts of the Spirit exercised by people without the Holy Spirit in the sense of the new birth because they've never received the Message of the hour, the Word for their day.

Don't base your Spiritual decisions on manifestations, or personal experience. And don't ask God to "Show you a sign," if the answer is written clearly in His Book. The unchanging God never changes His mind on His Word, and He is not going to grant you a dispensation to sin (Malachi 3:6; Hebrew 13:8). If you see the answer to your question is already in His Word, your request for a "sign" is sin or unbelief in His revealed Word.

We must obey God's Word or perish. One Word off the revelation is the kingdom of Satan. The most convincing lies are those closest to the truth.   When the incarnate Serpent deceived Eve, He added just one word which put a spin on the truth and caused her to reason against God.

Satan can also impersonate the five-fold ministry which is why we are told: "Quench not the Holy Spirit; do not scoff at prophesyings, and prove all things, testing them by God's Word from Genesis to Revelation, then hold fast and accept that which is true" (I Thessalonians 5:19-21). Not only are we examining the vindication of a ministry, we are also testing our own understanding, whether we are in the same Spirit as the minister and God's Word, or hearing the rhema without the Logos.

The natural marriage types the Spiritual union between Christ and His Bride.   As a man and his wife truly joined together by God in natural matrimony are united as one flesh (Genesis 2:24), Christ and His Bride are joined in the common faith or understanding by one Spirit (John 17:21-26; I Corinthians 1:10; 6:17).

If God's Bible teaches there is one water baptism (Ephesians 4:5) which is in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, any spirit that would tell you to be baptized in Titles of Father, Son and Holy Ghost, or in the Name of Yashua or Jehoshuah, is a lying spirit who works in the children of disobedience. Paul said, "If anyone -- even myself -- should teach contrary to what I have already preached, let him be accursed of God" (Galatians 1:8-9).

How can I get rid of a lying spirit? Confront it with God's truth. Test everything by two or three witnesses of Scripture. God's will is His Word. Any revelation will run in continuity from Genesis to Revelation. Refuse anything not in strict accord with God's Word. "Resist the Devil, (by the Word of God), and he will flee from you" as he fled from Jesus when He resisted him with God's Word. "It is written; It is also written" (James 4:7; Matthew 4:1-11; Hebrews 13:8).

The means is the sword of the Spirit. But it is ineffectual until you draw it from its scabbard and hold It against the throat of the enemy in the strong hand of faith. Now don't become over-confident and trust in yourself: you have a deceiving spirit.   He is smarter than you are, and he's on a roller. He'll try every sly trick in the book. Not only is he a lying spirit, but he's also a religious spirit, and they're the worst kind. He'll seek to strengthen himself by having you consult with denominational ministers, either to comfort and assure you that you have no spiritual problem: a deception; or he'll encourage you to reason the revelation of the Message against denominational sophistry. Test your motives and your objectives, prove every thought and action against the Absolute of God's Word, and hold That to the throat of the enemy without relief until he is dead to you.

Once that spirit has left and you are sanctified you must fill the space he vacated by being born-again.   Every lying or denominational spirit will maintain you are already born-again and filled with the Spirit. However, unless you have recognized your day and it's Message, and see that part of the Word living through you, you are not born-again. The evidence of the baptism with the Holy Spirit or new birth is oneness with that Word. We must be in agreement with God, our soul in passionate embrace with our Husband on every Word. We look to His Word as our sole authority and ground for confidence: not a brass serpent, other tongues, sensations, signs or "works."   Nothing outside faith in the present Truth.

If you have once been bitten, be twice shy.   This is a deceiving spirit whose victims are absolutely certain he has no hold over them because they are deceived.   Take the case of Eve, nine months after she and Adam had been expelled from the Presence of the Lord, nine months after God had cursed the earth and the Serpent, and explained to the couple how they had brought death upon themselves and all of nature -- when Eve gave birth to the Serpent's seed, Cain, she said, "I have begotten a man from the Lord." Why? Why?? Because she was still deceived. A deception is so thoroughly persuasive it would convince the very elected if that were possible.

The brass serpent spoke of sin already judged; brass speaks of Divine judgment while the serpent spoke of sin. The brazen serpent was nailed to a pole, showing that someday sin would be nailed to a pole for a compound atonement to heal the body and the soul.   The brass serpent represented the brazen altar or Cross of Calvary where sin was condemned and judged.

The brazen serpent was lifted up for natural healing. When Jesus was lifted up He atoned for sin and for sickness. "He was wounded for our transgressions, and with His stripes we were healed" (past tense). The price is fully paid, for our natural and spiritual healing. We just have to exercise sufficient faith to tear up a handful of hyssop and apply the blood, the evidence or Token of our faith, in order to take possession of the promise.

By 'sufficient faith,' I do not mean a certain quantity that must somehow be worked-up or acquired, but the quality of faith. Our faith must be pure, free from doubt or unbelief, and steadfast.

When the brazen serpent came to be treated as an idol, and the Israelites burnt incense before it, good king Hezekiah broke it into pieces (II Kings 18:4). Today we see images of Jesus Christ lifted up on the Cross perverted into an idol with incense burnt before it.

Satan and his children take what is pure and right, and pervert it to his service and the destruction of Adam's race. In Newsletter #234 we described how he brought his pagan Trinity into Israel, then into Judah, and finally into false Christianity which has adopted the idol altars on the mount of Olives, renaming them after Christian myths and figures. Similar shrines and images have been erected throughout the world.

Satan took justification by grace through faith alone, and through Calvinism, turned grace into disgrace. He took Scriptural sanctification which is a further step in grace and turned it into Armenianism. And the legalist works of self-righteousness became idolatry. Then he infiltrated, overcame and denominated the Pentecostals and said, 'speaking with unknown tongues is the initial evidence of the Holy Ghost.'  But "speaking" was never an evidence. The Bible tells us that the evidence is and was always "hearing" or understanding what the Spirit is saying. Faith is the only evidence: recognizing your day and its Message. So we find multitudes are in idolatry, worshiping the gift instead of the Giver.

Many denominational Christians today have become sign-seekers, hoping to learn the will of God, so they are unable to seize faith to understand that God's emphatic and unchanging will is His Word.   We should not seek signs, but earnestly desire faith: a clear understanding of God's Word. The "Jews" sought after signs, and their superstition became a stumbling block, blinding them to faith in God's Word. The Greeks sought for an intellectual explanation of Supernatural things according to natural parameters so to them faith appeared to be foolishness (I Corinthians 1:17-31).

Consider Daniel in the lion's den. Or Shadrach, Meshech, and Abednego, about to be cast into the fiery furnace. All the signs indicated God's extreme disinterest in their plight. But they walked by faith and not by signs, and faith held when circumstances indicated they were without hope.

When Abram was seventy-five, God promised, "I will make of you a great nation," yet his wife Sarai was barren. Abram advertised the promise of God by his new name, "Abraham," meaning "Father of the Goyim," or "Father of many nations" for ten years before Isaac, his first child by Sarah, was born in his hundredth year.   All signs were against the fulfilment of the promise, but when hopes were gone, Abraham held to the faith believing God would honor His Word.

We have many examples of faithful Bible believers like Noah, the virgin Mary, Naaman the Syrian, or the sisters of Lazarus, who have stood on faith when all the signs discerned by their ten worldly senses declared their situation hopeless. Rest your soul in Jesus, not on what you can see, taste, touch, hear, or smell, or on what memory, reasoning, affection, conscience or imagination signal contrary to faith.

Maybe your senses have left you so discouraged, you don't feel like praising God. Don't listen to your senses which are contrary to faith. Make the sacrifice! Don't reason faith away.   Praise Him anyhow. Glorify Jesus from your soul, the fruit of your lips giving praise to God.

Faith has given us a foretaste of glory by the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and showers of refreshing from the Presence of God water our soul causing us to grow in grace. Faith, if it is faith, is the unchanging mind of God in you. It is the Absolute that can never fail.

Where is your faith today? Stir up your faith by speaking the Word. Don't let the ten senses of mortality hold you down. Take mastery over the world in which you live, bring it subject to the Word in your soul. Speak the Word, for God has given you the gates of the enemy. "The Law says that men are gods! Scripture called them gods to whom the Word of God came, and the Scripture cannot fail" (John 10:34-35).   So don't leave God's Word in your Bible, take it in the hands of faith and make It work for you to His glory. nl235.htm
