Our main article is taken from "The Rulers of Evil," written by contributing author, the late Tupper Saussy. Brother Tupper analysed hundreds of signatory clues left by the true rulers of the world, clues that we have perhaps been trained to ignore. He traced them to their origins, and matched them to the facts of history going back six thousand years—all balanced against the most reliable human reference work there is, the Bible which admonishes us to "study to show ourselves approved unto God by rightly dividing the Word of Truth to make our calling and election sure".

This week Australia's most recent Jewish Prime Minister engineered his replacement by a Laodicean Pentecostal, monitored and advised by the cabal; he boasted on national radio that the highlight of his premiership was passing same sex marriage legislation (fulfilling Luke 17:28-30). Our death-staring Jewess Foreign Minister in breach of Romans 7 resigned her portfolio with egregious libel accusing Russia of downing MH17 on July 17, 2014 over Jew-ruled Ukraine four months after the US-Israeli coup d'état on February 18, 2014 to recover the Jews' homeland Khazaria as a place of refuge for their impending exodus from the Middle East. Through the Cloward-Piven strategy Australia is mortgaged to the international Jews and fawning over our Jew-controlled great and powerful friend, "the US image unto the beast" of Revelation 13. The 'hot stage' of World War III, the devastation of Australia's east coast by an unprecedented natural catastrophe that will sink Los Angeles and much of California at the close of the Christian dispensation, collapsing the global economy and all fiat monetary systems causing a global depression is the promise of interesting times ahead.

Journalist Christopher Hitchens tartly observed in Slate the year he was contesting the presidency against Barack Obama (possibly to ensure an Obama victory): "He combines the body of an ox with the brains of a gnat. Indeed, if his brains were made of gunpowder and were to accidentally explode, the resulting bang would not even be enough to rearrange his hair." McCain's infamy began showing by off with the "wet start" of his fighter jet on the USS Forrester causing the deaths of 134 shipmates, seriously injuring 161 sailors (with loss of limbs, blindness and burns) and taking the ship off the battle line for extensive repairs. From 1967 to 1973 he was the "songbird" in the Hanoi Hilton. The CIA record proves his whole career was built on a lie. He lied on CNN stating that the new post coup Kiev government had no BUK's . . . denounced any shift away from "regime-change" in Syria following the chemical attack on Gouta which claimed the lives of up to 1,000 . . . the US-supported rebels possess chemical weapons . . . the Pentagon not only provided chemical weapons to Al Nusra . . . but also provided training to the rebels in the use of these weapons. US Senator John McCain: "I know ISIS intimately, I've met them and I talk to them all the time" . . . Senator McCain got busted for secretly and illegally entering Syria to meet with ISIL to coordinate strategy on that warfront.

Trump Regime planning another Chemical Weapons Attack False Flag in Syria
August 27, 2018 — The Syrian Arab News Agency reported on an impending false flag CW incident in Idlib province to be wrongfully blamed on government forces. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said a false flag attack is coming to "imped(e) a normal settlement of the . . . fight against terrorism in Idlib." Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov explained what's coming, what happened several times before, most recently last April in the Douma—a fake US/UK false flag incident, wrongfully blamed on Damascus, followed by US/UK/French warplanes terror-bombing Syrian targets, naked aggression based on a Big Lie . . . Ahead of the US/UK-orchestrated false flag, Pentagon warships were deployed in the Persian Gulf, carrying cruise missiles, along with a B-1B strategic bomber sent from Udei airbase in Qatar, armed with AGM-158 JASSM air-to-surface missiles... Comment: The latest script-reader to toe the chemical hoax line is President Trump's national security adviser, John Bolton, who on August 22, stated: ". . . if the Syrian regime uses chemical weapons we will respond very strongly and they really ought to think about this a long time." Mueller's History of Cover-Ups
April 8, 2018 — Former FBI Director Robert Mueller has been in the news lately due to his inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 US elections. After a 12-year stint leading the Bureau, the longest ever since J. Edgar Hoover, Mueller is now seen by many as an honest man serving the interest of the American public. However, that perception cannot be defended once one knows about Mueller's past.
What some people don't know about Mueller is that he has a long history of leading government investigations that were diversions or cover-ups. These include the investigation into the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, the investigation into the terrorist financing Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), and FBI investigations into the crimes of September 11th, 2001. Today the public is beginning to realize that Mueller's investigation into Russian collusion with the Trump campaign is a similar diversion . . .
With knowledge of Mueller's past, people can see that he is not in the news today to reveal important information about Russia and the Trump Administration. To the contrary, Mueller is in the news to divert attention away from important information and, most likely, to prevent the Trump Administration from being scrutinized in any real way. US to announce Rejection of Palestinian Right of Return
August 26, 2018 — The United States Donald Trump administration will announce a suspension of funding to the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) and the rejection of the right of return for Palestinian refugees. According to Hebrew-language news outlets, the US administration is expected to announce its new policy early September, which would effectively cancel the right of return for Palestinians through several steps.
The US administration will start enforcing its new policy with recognizing the existence of only half a million Palestinian refugees, who are legitimately considered refugees, out of the total of 5.3 million Palestinian refugees, which were estimated by UNRWA, demanding the right of return . . . essentially cancels the right of return" . . . American Pravda: Holocaust Denial

August 27, 2018 — Meanwhile, all historians know perfectly well that the Bolshevik leaders were overwhelmingly Jewish, with three of the five revolutionaries Lenin named as his plausible successors coming from that background. Although only around 4% of Russia's population was Jewish, a few years ago Vladimir Putin stated that Jews constituted perhaps 80-85% of the early Soviet government, an estimate fully consistent with the contemporaneous claims of Winston Churchill, Times of London correspondent Robert Wilton, and the officers of American Military Intelligence. Recent books by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Yuri Slezkine, and others have all painted a very similar picture. And prior to World War II, Jews remained enormously over-represented in Communist leadership, especially dominating the Gulag administration and the top ranks of the dreaded NKVD.
Both of these simple facts have been widely accepted in America throughout my entire lifetime. But combine them together with the relatively tiny size of worldwide Jewry, around 16 million prior to World War II, and the inescapable conclusion is that in per capita terms Jews were the greatest mass-murderers of the twentieth century, holding that unfortunate distinction by an enormous margin and with no other nationality coming even remotely close. And yet, by the astonishing alchemy of Hollywood, the greatest killers of the last one hundred years have somehow been transmuted into being seen as the greatest victims, a transformation so seemingly implausible that future generations will surely be left gasping in awe.
Today's American Neocons are just as heavily Jewish as were the Bolsheviks of a hundred years ago, and they have greatly benefited from the political immunity provided by this totally bizarre inversion of historical reality. Partly as a consequence of their media-fabricated victimhood status, they have managed to seize control over much of our political system, especially our foreign policy, and have spent the last few years doing their utmost to foment an absolutely insane war with nuclear-armed Russia. If they do manage to achieve that unfortunate goal, they will surely outdo the very impressive human body-count racked up by their ethnic ancestors, perhaps even by an order-of-magnitude or more . . .
In the late 1990s, international Jewish organizations launched a major effort to extract many billions of dollars from the largest Swiss banks, arguing that such funds were the rightful property of European Jews who had died in the Holocaust. When the banks initially resisted, arguing that no solid evidence was being presented for such enormous claims, they were harshly denounced by America's Jewish-dominated media, and Jewish lobbying led the American government to threaten them with severe financial sanctions that could have destroyed their businesses. Faced with such serious extortionate pressure, the banks finally gave way and paid out the bulk of the funds being demanded, with those billions mostly retained by the Jewish organizations leading the campaign and spent on their own projects since the purported Jewish heirs were impossible to locate.
This situation led historian Norman Finkelstein to publish a short book in 2000 entitled The Holocaust Industry, in which he harshly critiqued what he characterized as a global Jewish money-making enterprise aimed at unfairly extracting wealth on behalf of the supposed Holocaust victims, often with little regard for truth or fairness. Although almost entirely ignored by the American media, it became a major bestseller in Europe, which eventually forced American publications to give it some attention. Among other things, Finkelstein noted that more than a half-century after the end of the Holocaust, the number of officially designated Holocaust survivors had grown so large that simple mortality considerations seemed to imply that huge numbers of European Jews must have survived the war. This obviously raised serious questions about how many might have actually died during that conflict and its accompanying Holocaust.
Over the years, I had noticed the same sorts of media reports claiming enormous totals of Holocaust survivors still alive now six or seven decades after the event. For example, as late as 2009 an official at Israel's Jewish Agency justified laws criminalizing Holocaust Denial by explaining that almost 65 years after the end of the war "there are still hundreds of thousands of living Holocaust survivors," a statement which itself seems to constitute rather explicit Holocaust Denial. Indeed, a very noticeable number of all the New York Times obituaries I read these days in my morning newspapers seem to include Holocaust survivors still expiring in their eighties and nineties . . . Comment: Thus America's current Jewish President Donald Trump has unlawfully supported Jerusalem as the exclusive capital of non-Semitic, anti-Semitic Israelis, contrary to UN Resolution 181, and formally rejected the right of Semitic Palestinians to return to their homeland contrary to Articles 12 and 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
His decisions hasten the utter defeat of the modern state of faux Israel with the mass exodus of non-Semetic, anti-Semitic Israeli Jews, the invasion and brief occupation of mainland USA in the brief 'hot stage' of World War III, the end of the Christian dispensation of grace, and the repatriation of Semitic Israelites from the Muslim lands of their exile. 'The Temples that Jerusalem Forgot'
This book by Ernest L. Martin presents the true history of Jerusalem's second temple, and proves that the Jews demolished and completely rebuilt it in order to purify it after its desecration long before Roman General Titus invested Jerusalem. Chapter 24 documents and proves that today's Temple Mount is not where the second temple was built. Mount Zion's height was lowered in order to help secure the area, and the lose earth from the top of Mount Zion, was used to fill in and to level today's Temple Mount area. Global Earthquakes over Last 30 Days +50% above Normal
August 24, 2018 — In recent days, we have seen very large earthquakes in Venezuela, Fiji, Italy and elsewhere . . . significant quakes have rattled Oregon, Alaska and the west coast of Mexico . . . the number of earthquakes that we have witnessed over the last 30 days is more than 50 percent above normal.
If you go to Earthquake Track, you will find the latest data on all earthquakes that have happened all over the planet . . . 82,845 earthquakes of magnitude 1.5 or greater over the last 365 days . . . an average of about 227 earthquakes per day over the past year . . . 6,810 earthquakes per 30 days over the last 12 months. But . . . 10,901 earthquakes over the last 30 days . . . more than 50 percent above normal . . . along the Ring of Fire . . . 90 percent of earthquakes occur here, as well as 22 of the 25 biggest volcanic eruptions in history . . . The entire west coast of the continental United States and the entire southern coast of Alaska fall directly along the Ring of Fire. The Illegal Entry of GMOs into India
August 25, 2018 — Despite five high-level reports (listed here) in India advising against the adoption of genetically modified (GM) crops, the drive to get GM mustard commercialised (which would be India's first officially-approved GM food crop) has been relentless. Although the Genetic Engineering Approval Committee (GEAC) has given it the nod, GM mustard remains held up in the Supreme Court mainly due to a public interest litigation by environmentalist Aruna Rodrigues.
Rodrigues argues that GM mustard is being undemocratically forced through with flawed tests (or no testing) and a lack of public scrutiny and that unremitting scientific fraud and outright regulatory delinquency has taken place. She is seeking a moratorium on the environmental release of any genetically modified organism (GMO) in the absence of: comprehensive, transparent and rigorous biosafety protocols; biosafety studies conducted by independent expert bodies; and access to biosafety protocols and data in the public domain.
On Friday 24 August 2018 and in relation to the ongoing court proceedings surrounding GM mustard, Rodrigues filed an additional court application concerning the ongoing illegal imports of GM seed, GM soy cultivation in Gujarat and the presence of GMO imports in processed foods and oils. All of this represents a back-door entry of GMOs into India. The application is scathing about what it calls proof of ultimate 'regulatory delinquency' and of the regulators and attendant government ministries mortgaging the public interest. This new 78-page submission to court asserts that the GEAC has provided cover for the illegal trade in imports of GM processed foods, including huge quantities of GM seeds as well as processed and crude soy oil. The GEAC is also accused of deliberately allowing the contamination of India's food chain with untested GMOs, thereby potentially endangering the health of Indians . . . Matthew 24:37 and Who is behind White Genocide?
Miscegenation is contrary to God's unchanging Word. The original sin resulted in miscegenation between Eve and the Serpent, a handsome giant man-like creature before God changed every bone in His body. The fruit of their horrible sin was her bastard son Cain; God set "enmity" between his seed and the children of the first and the last Adam (Genesis 3:15; John 8:44). Miscegenation between the races of Cain and Adam is genocide for the offspring are not in Adam's genealogy which is the Book of Life. Likewise organized religion transforms God's unchanging Word from Spirit and eternal Life, to death (John 6:63; Revelation 17:18-19). God's law of reproduction requires everything to "bring forth after his kind" thus Jesus Messiah is the last Adam and is not Cain's KINSMAN Redeemer.
Miscegenation was the besetting sin in the days of Noah. This hybridization of God's Word wrought such wickedness "God repented that He had made man on the earth" and destroyed all outside the ark by the Flood (Genesis 6:1-13). Jesus prophesied, "As it was in the days of Noah so will it be in the second or (Gk.) 'parousia' Coming of the Son of man," and the revelation of the Seven Seals in 1963 brought Christ back to earth in W_O_R_D form (Matthew 24:37). Miscegenation is one of two unnatural sins Jesus foretold for our day. Apostate ministers, their congregations and self-seeking politicians adulate miscegenation under the euphemism, 'multiculturalism' that is as deceptive in Satan's Eden today as it was in the Garden of God six thousand years ago. The egregious boast of Australia's Jewish ex-Prime Minister that "Australia is the most successful society in the world" is not only a rebuke to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, it exposes him as an enemy of Adam's race and the divided and conquered nation of Australia.

The second unnatural besetting sin Jesus foretold for our day was homosexuality. Luke 17:28-30, "as it was in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all (Matthew 25:6; II Peter 3:3-11; Revelation 18:4) even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." Once again God has sent three messengers, two ministered a basic salvation message to the churches in Sodom: Billy Graham to the fundamentals, and Oral Roberts to the Pentecostals. As it was in the days of Lot God veiled Himself behind a third messenger who was neither the created Man nor the virgin-born Man but William Branham, a sinner-saved-by grace (Malachi 4:5, 6b, Matthew 17:11, Revelation 10:7), he served the elect and called out group separated from Sodom and the things of the world. Through His humble Prophet God revealed "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday and today and forever . . . discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12; 13:8) as God did in Genesis 18, and in the days of His flesh.
Under the Sixth Vial the Judaeo-Roman Universal church has been gathering the leaders of the earth and of the world together to Armageddon by Fascist, Judaeo-Nazi, and Judaeo-Communist demons. Abortion Pills: from the Back Street to the Bathroom
August 28, 1018 — Lesley Regan, president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), is delighted at the news that women will be able to self-administer abortion pills in their own home. She is on record as claiming that having an abortion is no different to having a bunion removed . . .
One young girl describes her own experience of having a medical abortion at home: 'I had to go from two appointments for the abortion on the Thursday and the Saturday. I took the first pill and then went back on the Saturday for the second. I think the best way of describing what happened next is to read out a bit from my boyfriend's version of events: The day she took the final pill and came back to my flat to wait for it to pass truly drew a new line in the sand. The hours of pain she suffered, it utterly ripped me apart to see her writhing in agony, interspersed with trips to the toilet as the process started. It culminated in one trip from which she didn't return, all I heard was sobs, drained of energy she couldn't even cry with the force the pain deserved. 'Easy Meat' – Multiculturalism, Islam and Child Sex Slavery
This is a shocking report. It is written with care, but the evidence is hard to believe. Readers should beware, because there is something to feel angry about on most pages: the prevalence of the crime; the length of time that it has continued; its blatancy; the lengths our authorities have gone to in order to cover up for it; but most of all, the vulnerability and suffering of the victims.
That anger is going to spread as awareness of this crime spreads. Denial and damage limitation won't work anymore.
It is hard to think of something more calculated to incite public violence than the targeting of native girls for rape by an immigrant population. The use of inter communal rape in the most savage territorial conflicts testifies to its perception as a weapon, and the fear of it evokes the most primal instincts. And this is the basis for our plea to our civil authorities to stamp out this crime by any lawful means: if the suffering of the victims can't motivate you, then consider the threat to your grip on power. The only people in the world, it seems, who believe in the conspiracy theory of history are those who have studied it. The Roman Catholic church really does run the world, and this is openly declared in monuments and emblems and insignia as well as official documents . . . there was a vast Roman Catholic substratum to American history, especially the Revolution that produced the constitutional republic. The Jesuits played eminent and under-appreciated roles in moving the complacent New Englanders to rebel against their mother country.
Consider: the land known today as the District of Columbia bore the name "Rome " in 1663 property records; and the branch of the Potomac River that bordered "Rome " on the south was called the "Tiber." This information was reported in the 1902 edition of the Catholic Encyclopedia's article on Daniel Carroll. The article, specifically declaring itself "of interest to Catholics" in the 1902 edition, was deleted from the New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967). Other facts were reported in 1902 and deleted from 1967. For example, when Congress met in Washington for the first time, in November, 1800, "the only two really comfortable and imposing houses within the bounds of the city" belonged to Roman Catholics. One was Washington's first mayor, Robert Brent. The other was Brent's brother-in-law, Notley Young, a Jesuit priest.
Daniel Carroll was a Roman Catholic congressman from Maryland who signed two of America's fundamental documents, the Articles of Confederation and the United States Constitution. Carroll was a direct descendant of the Calverts, a Catholic family to whom King Charles I of England had granted Maryland as a feudal barony. Carroll had received his education at St. Omer's Jesuit College in Flanders, where young English-speaking Catholics were trained in a variety of guerrilla techniques for advancing the cause of Roman Catholicism among hostile Protestants.
In 1790, President George Washington, a Protestant, appointed Congressman Carroll to head a commission of three men to select land for the "federal city" called for in the Constitution. Of all places, the commission chose "Rome," which at the time consisted of four farms, one of which belonged to . . . Daniel Carroll. [Back in 1663, in the Maryland records, the exact site was recorded under the title "Rome," its owner a man named "Francis Pope"]. It was upon Carroll's farm that the new government chose to erect its most important building, the Capitol.
The American Capitol abounds with clues of its Roman origins. "Freedom," the Roman goddess whose statue crowns the dome, was created in Rome at the studio of American sculptor Thomas Crawford. We find a whole pantheon of Roman deities in the great fresco covering the dome's interior rotunda: Persephone, Ceres, Freedom, Vulcan, Mercury, even a deified George Washington. These figures were the creation of Vatican artist Constantino Brumidi.
The fact that the national Statehouse evolved as a "capitol" bespeaks Roman influence. No building can rightly be called a capitol unless it's a temple of Jupiter, the great father-god of Rome who ruled heaven with his thunderbolts and nourished the earth with his fertilizing rains. If it was a capitolium, it belonged to Jupiter and his priests.
Jupiter's mascot was the eagle, which the founding fathers made their mascot as well. A Roman eagle tops the governing idol of the House of Representatives, a forty-six-inch sterling silver and-ebony wand called a "mace." The mace is "the symbol of authority in the House." When the Sergeant-at-arms displays it before an unruly member of Congress, the mace restores order. Its position at the rostrum tells whether the House is in "committee" or in "session."
America's national motto "Annuit Coeptis" came from a prayer to Jupiter. It appears in Book IX of Virgil's epic propaganda, the Aeneid, a poem commissioned just before the birth of Christ by Caius Maecenas, the multi-billionaire power behind Augustus Caesar. The poem's objective was to fashion Rome into an imperial monarchy for which its citizens would gladly sacrifice their lives. [On the American Seal it indicates (The Eye of) "Providence has favoured Our Undertakings"].
Fascism may be an ugly word to many, but its stately emblem is apparently offensive to no one. The emblem of fascism, a pair of them, commands the wall above and behind the speaker's rostrum in the Chamber of the House of Representatives. They're called fasces, and I can think of no reason for them to be there other than to declare the fascistic nature of American republican democracy.
A fasces is a Roman device. Actually, it originated with the ancient Etruscans, from whom the earliest Romans derived their religious jurisprudence nearly 3,000 years ago. It's an axe-head whose handle is a bundle of rods tightly strapped together by a red sinew. It symbolizes the ordering of priestly functions into a single infallible sovereign, an autocrat who could require life and limb of his subjects. If the fasces is entwined with laurel, like the pair on the House wall, it signifies Caesarean military power. The Romans called this infallible sovereign Pontifex Maximus, "Supreme Bridgebuilder." No Roman was called Pontifex Maximus until the title was given to Julius Caesar in 48BC. Today's Pontifex Maximus is Pope John Paul II. [Jesuit Pope Francis I].
As we shall discover in a forthcoming chapter, John Paul does not hold that title alone. He shares it with a mysterious partner, a military man, a man holding an office that has been known for more than four centuries as "Papa Nero," the Black Pope. I shall present evidence that the House fasces represent the Black Pope, who indeed rules the world.
Few people seem to be aware that the Roman Catholic Church in America is officially recognized as a State. How this came about makes interesting reading. Early in his administration, President Ronald Reagan invited the Vatican City, whose ruling head is the Pope, to open its first embassy in Washington, DC His Holiness responded positively, and the embassy, or Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See, opened officially on January 10, 1984 . . . It enables Pontifex Maximus to supervise more closely American civil government, "public policy," as administered through Roman Catholic laypersons...
This same imperium ran pagan Rome in essentially the same way. The public servants were priests of the various gods and goddesses. Monetary affairs, for example, were governed by priests of the goddess Moneta. Priests of Dionysus managed architecture and cemeteries, while priests of Justitia, with her sword, and Libera, blindfolded, holding her scales aloft, ruled the courts. Hundreds of priestly orders of the Sacred College managed hundreds of government bureaus, from the justice system to the construction, cleaning, and the repair of bridges (no bridge could be built without approval of Pontifex Maximus), buildings, temples, castles, city walls and ramparts, the boundaries of lands, baths, sewers, ports and highways.
Priests directed the paving and repairing of streets and roads, supervised the calendar and education of youth. Priests regulated weights, measures, value of money, solemnized and certified births, baptisms, puberty, purification, adolescence, marriage, divorce, confession, death, burial, excommunication, adoption into families, adoption into tribes and orders of nobility, canonization, deification [like the Apotheosis of George Washington to divine status]. Priests ran the libraries, the museums, the consecrated lands and treasures. Priests registered the trademarks and symbols. Priests were in charge of public worship, directing the festivals, plays, entertainments, games and ceremonies. Priests wrote and held custody over wills, testaments, and legal conveyances.
By the fourth century, one half of the lands and one fourth of the population of the Roman Empire were owned by the priests. When the Emperor Constantine and his Senate formally adopted Christianity as the Empire's official religion [organizing the Judaeo-Roman Catholic church at the First Nicaea Council in AD325], the exercise was more of a merger or acquisition than a revolution. The wealth of the priests merely became the immediate possession of the Christian churches, and the priests merely declared themselves Christians. Government continued without interruption. The pagan gods and goddesses were artfully outfitted with names appropriate to Christianity.
The sign over the Pantheon indicating "To [the fertility goddess] Cybele and All the Gods" was re-written "To Mary and All the Saints." The Temple of Apollo became the Church of St. Apollinaris. The Temple of Mars was reconsecrated Church of Santa Martina, with the inscription "Mars hence ejected, Martina, martyred maid/ Claims now the worship which to him was paid."
Haloed icons of Apollo were identified as Jesus, and the crosses of Bacchus and Tammuz were accepted as the official symbol of the Crucifixion. Pope Leo I decreed that "St. Peter and St. Paul have replaced Romulus and Remus as Rome's protecting patrons." Pagan feasts, too, were Christianized. December 25—the celebrated birthday of a number of gods, among them Saturn, Jupiter, Tammuz, Bacchus, Osiris, and Mithras—was claimed to have been that of Jesus as well, and the traditional Saturnalia, season of drunken merriment and gift-giving, evolved into Christmas . . .
Bacchus was popular in ancient France under his Greek name Dionysus—or, as the French rendered it, Denis. His feast, the Festurn Dionysi, was held every seventh day of October, at the end of the vintage season. After two days of wild partying, another feast was held, the Festum Dionysi Eleutherei Rusticum ("Country Festival of Merry Dionysus"). The papacy cleverly brought the worshippers of Dionysus into its jurisdiction by transforming the words Dionysus, Bacchus, Eleutherei, and Rusticum into . . . a group of Christian martyrs. October seventh was entered on the Liturgical Calendar as the feast day of "St. Bacchus the Martyr," while October ninth was instituted as the "Festival of St. Denis, and of his companions St. Eleuthère and St. Rustic." The Catholic Almanac (1992 et seq) sustains the fabrication by designating October ninth as theFeast Day of Denis, bishop of Paris, and two companions identified by early writers as Rusticus, a priest, and Eleutherius, a deacon martyred near Paris. Denis is popularly regarded as the apostle and patron saint of France.
Playing loose with truth and Scripture in order to bring every human creature into subjection to the Roman Pontiff is a technique called "missionary adaptation. "This is explained as "the adjustment of the mission subject to the cultural requirements of the mission object" so that the papacy's needs will be brought "as much as possible in accord with existing socially shared patterns of thought, evaluation, and action, so as to avoid unnecessary and serious disorganization."
Rome has so seamlessly adapted its mission to American secularism that we do not think of the United States as a Catholic system. Yet the rosters of government rather decisively show this to be the case. By far the greatest challenge to missionary adaptation has been Scripture—that is, the Old and New Testaments, commonly known as the Holy Bible. Almost for as long as Rome has been the seat of Pontifex Maximus, there has been a curious enmity between the popes and the Bible whose believers they are presumed to head. nl1040.htm
