The 'Lost' Ten Tribes of Israel
Every so often someone revisits British Israel doctrine. This says the United States and Britain are the descendants of the Tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, whom, they claim, succeed to the inheritance of the "lost" ten Tribes of Israel.
The British Israel cult has its roots as part of the Jewish Cabala invented by John Dee, astrologer to Elizabeth I. Dee is said to be responsible for the development of England's navy and foresaw the establishment of an empire built upon maritime power. Menasseh Ben Israel, the Amsterdam Rabbi in Cromwell's conspiracy to bring England under the power of Jewish bankers, introduced the idea that the British are "the Lost Ten Tribes" which would make "Jews" their relatives and deserving readmittance to England. They'd been expelled from Britain in 1290 and were readmitted under duress in 1657 ("Life of Menasseh Ben Israel" by Cecil Roth, Jewish Publication Society of America, 1945; "The Inner Government of England, Vol. 1, p. 275).
The prophet of Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelation 10:7, William Branham, said, "there is nothing to British Israel Doctrine" (62-0217, Signs of His Coming, par. E116; 63-0324E, The Seventh Seal, par. 132-133). And we must receive a prophet in the Name of a Prophet (that is, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ), and take what he has said back to God's unchanging Word to ensure we are in the same Spirit as the prophet, because no true prophet can declare error when speaking in the Name of the Lord.
I personally know many British Israel people, and they are sincere good people, but they ignorantly misuse Scripture in an endeavor to substantiate their hypothesis. For instance, in Genesis 35:11, God said to Jacob, "I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of you, and kings shall be your descendants".
They claim the United States is this "nation," that Britain and her Commonwealth are the "company of nations," and that Elizabeth II and her ancestors are of David's royal line. Their savants have drafted family trees seeking to prove the British Royal House is this line of Davidic "kings." Sadly, the royal families of Europe are all Khazar Jews through intermarriage with the Venetian and Genoese oligarchies. Thus Britain's House of Windsor (Hanover) is actually the House of Este Guelph. Even if there were a link with Israel, it would have terminated with this intermarriage. But the British and all European Royal Houses trace their lineage to Japheth, not Shem.
A little reading of the Old Testament shows us these >"kings" were "rulers of cities" which were small villages (without telephone or cable TV, electricity or supermarkets), not mighty nations.
Anyway, according to Luke 1:31-33 the Angel told Mary, "You shall conceive, and bring forth a son, and shall call His Name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give to Him the throne of His father David: And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end."
Genesis 35:12 is overlooked, "I will give you the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, and to your seed after you will I give the land".Neither Britain nor America possesses this land. America only finances Israel (as they financed Russia from the Communist takeover in 1917 to the present day).
The British Israel people also quote Jacob's adoption of Joseph's two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. Genesis 48:16-20, "The Angel Who redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head. And Joseph said to his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put your right hand upon his head. And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. And he blessed them that day, saying, In you shall Israel bless, saying, 'God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh': and he set Ephraim before Manasseh."
By some wonderful process of divination, British Israel are able to distinguish and identify America as "Manasseh" in spite of the fact that their progenitors, who emigrated from England, were, according to them, "Ephraimites" and that those original emigrants have since intermarried with a flood of emigrants from all other races under heaven, including Serpent's seed, are the descendants of Abraham, particularly of the "lost" ten Tribes (so-called). Even Joseph's two sons by the daughter of Pharaoh's priest had to be adopted as Jacob's own sons in order to be partakers of the Covenant. And if an Israelite maiden marries outside her race, her children are not the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and not in the Covenant, because the seed or life or inheritance follows the male line.
The notion that there are ten "lost" tribes is another interesting point. To begin, there is no record of Asher, Zebulun, Dan, Simeon and Issachar being taken captive. In 726BC, about five years after Assyria had begun transporting Israel II Chronicles 30:6 says, "Posts went with the letters from king Hezekiah of Judah and his princes throughout ALL Israel and Judah, saying, You children of Israel, return to the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria." Israel was still not "lost" about a hundred.
In 630BC, King Josiah of Judah "cleansed Judah and Jerusalem, and the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even to Naphtali "(II Chronicles 34:6). Again, in 623BC, King Josiah of Judah "spoke to the Levites that taught ALL Israel" (II Chronicles 35:3-7). In 445BC, "ALL Israel" brought food for the Levites, the choir and the gatekeepers.
The Judah's captivity began in 606BC and in 536BC Cyrus proclaimed his edict for rebuilding the temple at Jerusalem (Ezra 1:1). When it was completed on Adar 3, 515BC (Ezra 6:15-17), a sin offering made for "ALL Israel". Over time, more and more from the northern Tribes identified with Judah rather than Ephraim. Many such people went into Babylonian Captivity with Judah so we read in Ezra 6:21, "The children of ISRAEL, who had returned from the captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, ate the Passover."
The ten Tribes were not "lost". According to Isaiah, they will be gathered from Assyria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and the islands in the Mediterranean to the Promised Land for the ministry of God's two prophets in Daniel's Seventieth Week (Isaiah 11:11). Not from Moscow, Warsaw, Berlin, London, Melbourne and New York.

The Angel is a theophany or visible manifestation of God. He's the Angel of the Covenant Who alone is our Goel or Kinsman Redeemer. And as our Redeemer He is also the avenger of blood. Manifested in the flesh of a virgin-born Man, He redeemed or rescued us all. One day He will avenge us of the injustices of the unrighteous (II Thessalonians 1:6-7). He redeemed Jacob from Esau's revenge for deceiving their father and stealing his blessing. Jacob wrestled throughout the night with this Angel, who was then in the form of a created Man. And when he prevailed or overcame, God changed his name to Israel, which means "Prince," and prophesied that because he had been strong with God he would prevail over men (Genesis 32:24-31).
The Redeemer inspired Jacob to lay hands upon Joseph's two sons and adopt them as his own, making them sons of God's Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So he said, "let them be accounted as my own family and called by my name"—true Israelites who shall prevail with God as I have done; and the name of Abraham—being partakers of his faith; and the name of Isaac—may they partake of his submissive obedience. The name of the father recognizes the life of the father, hence the Patriarchs were prophetically named in childbirth under the inspiration of the Spirit.
From the moment of their adoption, Ephraim and Manasseh had the same rights and privileges as Jacob's sons, which as the sons of Joseph they could never have possessed. Like Benjamin and Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh now belonged to Rachel's sons notwithstanding their mother was the daughter of an Egyptian priest. And from the moment of our adoption, or new birth, we receive Christ's Name and are made heirs and joint heirs with Him, notwithstanding we were born in sin and shaped in iniquity (Galatians 4:1-6).
The natural blessing was for Ephraim and Manasseh to multiply like fishes (Numbers 26:34, 37). It became a blessing among Israelites. At one time Ephraim numbered 40,500 men able to bear arms; Manasseh numbered 52,700, and was permitted additional land besides his brother west of Jordan to the sea.
The blessing was that they should "grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth,"in the core of the land of their inheritance. And as we look at the map of Canaan as divided among the Tribes we see Ephraim and Manasseh have their inheritance in the midst of Joseph's own sons, not in the British Commonwealth and America.
A rich blessing is bestowed upon Manasseh but Ephraim shall be greater. Joseph placed his sons so Jacob's his right hand would rest on the head of the elder. Genesis 48:19, "And Jacob refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations."
This blessing begins to fulfill itself from the days of the judges onward as the Tribe of Ephraim so increases in power that it becomes the head of the northern ten Tribes and its name becomes synonymous with that of Israel, although in Moses' day, Manasseh still outnumbered Ephraim by 20,000.
Much more could be said to refute the British Israel hypothesis. I think it sufficient to point out that in the Book of Daniel God allots 490 years of 360-days to his dealings with Israel from the going forth of the command to rebuild Jerusalem to the Millennium (Daniel 9:24-27). But after 483 of those years, Israel crucified their Messiah so God left-off dealing with them to call a people for His Name, Christ's Bride, out from the Gentiles (Malachi 1:11; Psalm 2:8; Acts 13:14; 15:14). Paul instructs us that God will not complete the last seven years of His dealings with Israel until after the close of the Gentile dispensation (Romans 11:25).
As God has blinded Israel for 2,000 years whilst He dealt with the Gentiles, and restores their Spiritual vision through the ministry of two prophets in the Land of Israel during Daniel's Seventieth Week (Zechariah 4; Revelation 11), anyone who would claim to be an Israelite in that time is saying, "I am NOT a Christian".
God only deals with Israel in the Homeland. His purpose in the two World Wars was to force Israel back to the Homeland so He can deal with them unto salvation. Paul tells us, at that time, "ALL Israel shall be saved." Praise the Lord! All 144,000 of them—12,000 from each Tribe, and not a single solitary soul of them in America, Great Britain, or the Commonwealth of Nations (Revelation 7:1-8).

Is Alan Greenspan Manipulating the Gold Market?
In two World Wars we saw the United States of America pressed into the fighting service of the Pharisees of the City of London. More recently, in Somalia and Iraq. Today, in Serbia. The United States is portrayed in Revelation 13 as a lamb-like beast, like the badge of the Fabian Society, (which is a wolf in sheep's clothing). Its two horns, represented freedom of worship in a Protestant country which separated church and state powers.
Now its beginning to speak like the Roman Catholic dragon it came out of and we see her bloody nature being made manifest. It cannot hide any longer, for we live in the harvest time of the world when every seed must come to maturity and express the life of the seed that was planted.
The United States is a young, muscle-bound thug, misled by ageold, experienced criminals and killers who live in aristocratic circles completely divorced from the ruthless activities of this strongman who enforces the secret directives of the Black Nobility, and forecloses on debtors for the international banksters. Uncle Sam ran away from his mother so he could serve the Lord, then backslid under the influence of the lovers she once expelled. Now poor Sam is hopelessly in debt to these lovers and so under mother's thumb, he pays no more than lip service to the Word of the Lord that once set him free.
When Satan is cast out of heaven and incarnates the Pope at the end of the Gentile dispensation, the Royal Houses of Europe (or Black Nobility) will deliver their power and strength to Rome, and America will be Rome's enforcer as the Imperial Army once was.
Brother Branham said, "This ecumenical move will end up with Rome at the head even though the people did not envision it that way. This is so because in Revelation 17:3-6 it states that the whore, Mystery Babylon is seated on the beast. She is controlling the last, or fourth empire. This Roman Church is doing that. With the world church system under her Rome will be controlling, and this image (church system) will be obedient to Rome because Rome controls the gold of the world. Thus all the people have to belong to the world church system or be at the mercy of the elements for they cannot buy or sell without the mark of the beast in the hand or head. This mark in the head means that they will have to take the doctrine of the world church system which is Trinitarianism, etc., and the mark in the hand which means to do the will of the world church" (An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, 376:1).
There will never be a more propitious time for union amongst all the various denominations than the year that celebrates the second Millennium of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember that whilst we take a further peek at gold.
On September 24, 1869, a pair of rascals named Jim Fisk and Jay Gould cornered the New York gold market, forcing short sellers to cover at any price. (Shorting involves selling a commodity you do not own: shares, gold, pork bellies, foreign currencies, etc., in anticipation of a falling market that will enable you to buy back at a lower price to cover your short position at a profit).
Almost to the day, a second great manipulation of the gold market began in 1998, when the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Mr. Alan Greenspan, began controlling the price of gold by lending it to investment bankers who sold it short each day to keep the price from rising above $300 an ounce. Venezuela, Germany, Portugal, Austria, and Switzerland are new entrants into the gold lending market (lemetropolecafe.com).
Fisk and Gould were out to make millions by squeezing the short sellers. Greenspan's objective is to protect the economy. When the he organized the bailout of the Long Term Capital Management hedge fund, a part of the problem was the fund's surprisingly big short position in gold. Then it turned out that other hedge funds and institutional speculators were—and many still are—short 8,000 to 14,000 metric tons of gold—many times annual production. If even a few of these shorts were forced to cover, their frantic buying would send gold rocketing up hundreds of dollars an ounce.
Can we prove this? No. But Greenspan said he would control the gold market if he had to. He spelled it out on July 24 in little-noticed testimony before the House Banking Committee where he was trying to downplay the risk that some derivative contracts might produce a squeeze on short sellers.
He said that there was no danger that the supply of oil required to fulfill derivative contracts could be restricted. Adding, "Nor can private counterparts restrict supplies of gold, another commodity whose derivatives are often traded over-the-counter, where central banks stand ready to lease gold in increasing quantities should the price rise."
You can't get clearer than that. Now we know why gold couldn't break $300. The answer was right there in the Banking Committee hearings, buried in pages of dull testimony, and we missed it. But Greenspan told us two months in advance what the Federal Reserve would do to keep gold from going to the moon.
Though there's a ceiling on the price of gold created by Fed-facilitated borrowing and short selling, there appears to be a floor under the metal that keeps its price from collapsing below the $295 area. Each time gold hits the floor, it bounces just a little and then hits the ceiling. Someone is buying.
The Czech central bank sold 31 metric tons of gold in face of its upward surge last spring. At the same time, the central bank of Luxembourg said it had sold most of its reserve, perhaps 10 metric tons. Experts assume that the floor consists of official buying by central banks. Poland and Russia have bought openly; China and Japan are believed to be buying and it's likely there are others. In addition there's growing private demand for gold in Asia as a shield against currency devaluation.
Is one of these buyers the Vatican, or Rothschilds their bankers? Rothschilds will loan against but never sell their gold. America's two horns of civil and religious power are uniting together again as they were under Rome at the beginning of the first millennium of the Church.
People all over the world are beginning to worry whether the money in their pockets and purses was really as sound as all the central bankers claimed. Without admitting any danger, the European Parliament backed calls for the creation of a 100-Euro gold coin as legal tender once the European Union's single currency becomes widely circulated. It's rumored that the gold backing of the Euro may be raised from the currently planned 15% to 30-35%. France has strongly pushed for this to make sure that the Euro will be strong enough to rival the dollar.
A huge amount of Gold has been short sold by speculators. It will take the Fed some time to unwind the market. Even when all shorts are covered, the Fed may find itself riding a tiger, wondering how to get off without being eaten.
Brother Branham taught us we should look for such a short position in gold. "the monster of Satan that defiles and deceives the whole world . . . the church system of the Roman Catholic and the Protestant in coming together will control the whole wealth of the world system and force the whole earth into its religious trap, or will kill them, by refusing them the privilege of buying and selling whereby they would make a living. This will be accomplished simply, for the harlot's daughters are all but gone back to her. In the meantime, Rome has acquired nearly all the supplies of gold. The Jews have the bonds and all the paper. At the right time, the harlot will destroy the present day money system by calling in all the paper, and demanding gold. With no gold, the system falls. The Jews will be trapped and come into the alliance, and the harlot church will take over the whole world" (An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages, 314:1).
