cabin pic

My folks were married when my mother was fourteen and my dad was eighteen years old. I was born when mom was sixteen years old and I weighed only five pounds. We lived in a little log cabin. This picture painted for me by an artist hangs in my house today.

That Tuesday morning at 5:00, on April the sixth, 1909, when the midwife opened the window so the light could shine in to let Mama and Papa see what I looked like, an amber colored Light came whirling through the window. It was about the size of a pillow, and circled around where I was, then went down on the bed. Several of the mountain people were standing there, they were crying.
